Badminton, table tennis teams banking on experience

Hong Kong is blessed with some talented badminton and table tennis players, who now also have the added benefit of experience at the Olympic Games.

Tse Ying-suet will be taking part in her third Games in Tokyo, and will be using every last bit of that experience to guide her partner in the mixed doubles, Tang Chun-man, through his first Olympics.

The city’s top-ranked badminton player Angus Ng meanwhile is ready to take on his second Olympics while in his prime.

In table tennis, much will be expected of the mixed doubles pairing of Doo Hoi-kem and Wong Chun-ting. They’re into their second Olympics as a pair, and say their relationship is getting better and better.

RTHK’s Wong Yin-ting spoke to the team about how they’re looking to make their experience count in Tokyo.
